We were saddened to learn that our classmate Chuck Taylor passed away on 3 May 2026. Included below is the obituary provided on 6 May 2026 by the EA Alumni Department.

Charles Melville “Chuck” Taylor, of Media, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026.

Chuck grew up in Wallingford, Pennsylvania, and was a proud alumnus of The Episcopal Academy and Ohio Wesleyan University. He built a career as an independent realtor with Charles E. Taylor Real Estate, where his integrity, dedication, and genuine care for others earned him the trust of countless clients and colleagues over the years.

A true adventurer at heart, Chuck was a world traveler and passionate scuba diver who found joy in exploring the beauty of God’s creation both above and below the sea. Wherever he went, he formed lasting connections—his warmth, humor, and ability to make others feel seen and valued turned strangers into lifelong friends.

Above all, Chuck was a devoted husband and father. His love for his family was steadfast and deeply felt, and he took great pride in the life he built with them. He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Taylor; his son, Andrew Taylor; and his daughter, Lillian (Taylor) Ditri.

Chuck was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Jane Taylor, and his brother, Bobby Taylor. Chuck’s life was a testament to faith, kindness, and connection. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched, and in the countless memories shared by family and friends. May he rest in eternal peace, embraced by God’s love.
